File drop #7 crosses an important threshold. PURSUE is tacitly acknowledging the strange phenomena discovered on Skinwalker Ranch.

The Setup
The Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP) was a program administered by DIA and executed by BAASS- Bigelow Advanced Aerospace Space Studies.
The purpose of AAWSAP was to study UAP from a threat perspective. Senators Harry Reid, Daniel Inouye, and Ted Stevens-the proposers of the program- were all aware that UAP display anomalous properties, and the mission of AAWSAP was to investigate and discover exactly what was going on. This meant following wherever the data led, and it included “examining more exotic possibilities that might account for reports of truly anomalous characteristics of the high performance craft of unknown origin”, as stated in the documents that formed the program.

The program’s scope included six projects with the Capella database at the center (the largest UFO database in the world at the time). I won’t go into all six projects, but the most relevant one is known as Project Ranch, which took place in an area in Utah known as Skinwalker Ranch.
Skinwalker Ranch has a long history of weird phenomena, from UFOs, to mid-air portals, to bipedal creatures with dog heads, to poltergeist-like phenomena that move objects when people aren’t looking.
What’s remarkable is that PURSUE- the White House’s directed group for UAP records release, is quietly but publicly acknowledging the AAWSAP records in relation to their UAP goals. While the ranch has had many UFO reports, the investigations from AAWSAP, which include the released document, show much more more.
The following is a summary of the Utah ranch investigation findings to date.
Comprehensive multiple witness descriptions of a large “dog” or “wolf’ like creature or creatures which have the ability to walk and run at speed on two legs. Multiple witnesses have described in their interviews, when the creature is standing on two legs, the estimated height is six to seven feet. From these interviews, there may be at least three separate types of creatures. Total number of independent witnesses (separately interviewed) eleven.
Multiple witness descriptions of small, hairy, three-foot tall “troll” like creatures with long arms which appear to run in a similar way to chimpanzees or orangutan. (four independent eyewitnesses)
Multiple witnesses (>2) reports of large “worm” like creatures, a prehistoric “pterodactyl’ like creature, “little people” and other anomalies. It should be noted the vast majority of reports detailed in points 1-3 have allegedly occurred within the last five to seven years.
Interspersed with the allegations of multiple creature sightings are multiple reports of unidentified flying objects, to include unidentified aircraft and “balls of light”. Some of these allegations are recent and some historic recollection.
BAASS has obtained photographs of tracks in the snow which remain unidentified. These photographs identify (a) two sets of tracks merge into one, and (b) where tracks in-the snow on the [redacted] , Ranch property appear to walk “through” a barbed wire fence. BAASS has also obtained a variety of hair samples from the vicinity of these tracks. These hair samples are currently undergoing scientific DNA analysis.

It’s hard to overstate the extraordinary nature of the reports. The records read like thrilling ghost stories rather than eyewitness testimony.
Monsters Only Exist in Fiction
Most of us only hear about these kinds of things in the context of spooky stories. In many cases, these stories often center on one creature and gradually reveal it’s true form. The plot is formulaic and built for audience sensibilities. The main character goes to a new location and sees increasingly weird things. The first night has some weird sounds outside the door. The second night has some objects moved, and the third has much more intense things inside the house… you’ve seen this before.
But the Utah Ranch report does not show a gradual buildup. Instead, we have remarkably full reports of creatures doing things- running, howling, flying, sticking long four-fingered hands inside bedroom windows, and much more. Instead of revealing a single creature piece by piece, we’ve got a shotgun blast of full-bodied characterizations.
Creature stories like these are so far outside of our own experience that they are simply not believable at face value. The natural reaction is to reject them outright, or immediately forget about them. But if we look at the larger literature about the ranch and AAWSAP government records, we see a much greater frequency of extraordinary sightings. AAWSAP was funded from DIA with $22 million over two years. We might consider how many reports it takes to be taken seriously. It certainly got the DIA’s attention in 2008, and it has the attention of the current presidential administration.
Why are there Redactions?
Most of the redactions are labeled as 1843 with an additional letter and number, and they come from the 2024 NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act). The rules for these redactions are established in the National Archives and Records Administration’s UAP collection.
The label 1843 means that certain information is redacted because its disclosure threatens national security by revealing a protected intelligence agent, source, method, or other matter of individual privacy or confidentiality.
It’s curious why witness names would still be withheld after 15 years. Could foreign spies gain information from these individuals? I could speculate many reasons but they are only useful for forming a hypothesis- none of them add data to an investigation.
Are the phenomena at Skinwalker Ranch caused by intelligent and/or autonomous creatures, or is every single witness misrepresenting what they see?
Controlled Observations
The most convincing origins of UAP that don’t involve some form of non-human intelligence is the use of highly advanced electronic warfare and field-operational behavioral modification at a distance. Projected holograms, drug induced hallucinations, altered memories- these could theoretically affect witnesses who might already be mentally unsound. The history of MK Ultra and it’s related programs, and psychic and consciousness studies with Stanford Research Institute, and the perception warfare of the US Army Intelligence and Security Command under Albert Stubblebine give us clues to what might be possible. We might suppose the Ranch might be a testing ground for these kinds of mind weapons, but the very existence of these kinds of technology would have to be kept secret. Otherwise, like a magician’s trick, they would lose their power.
But the reports from the ranch are much older than the theoretical tech allows. Deploying and using these methods covertly to this effect is a tall order, especially in the 20th century when phenomena were still reported. And no amount of remote holograms and hallucinogens can create the material effects described in Skinwalkers at the Pentagon and other books.
Forward Thinking
UAP and exotic phenomena have only been increasing in coverage and popularity. The progression from PURSUE highlighting fuzzy aircraft videos to showing reports of bipedal “skinwalkers” with canine heads is a significant leap. I suspect that the people behind PURSUE- members of the White House, ODNI and AARO, are only releasing such information under the assumption that their target audience is ready for it. While it may be a functional distraction from the crimes and gaffs of the current administration, the material they are showing has been around long before.
